Micro D-Sub Connector with Twist Pin Contact Technology

To meet the requirement of miniaturization and lightweight connectors and cables in aerospace and aviation area, Sunkye Connector Research Center has committed to research of reliable and Micro Nano Connectors

Twist Pin contacts by its design and performance enables the system to meet the most severe requirements-often significantly more so than stipulated in the MIL-DTL-83513 & MIL-DTL-32139 standard

The male of Micro-D contact is made up of 10 strands of beryllium-copper and copper alloy twisted together,welded then bumped.These sprung stands are in fact compressed during insertion into the turned female contact and therefore a high number of electrical contact points is permanently assured,while retaining flexibility and ease of insertion/extraction.

How to choose right sensor connector

Selecting the right type of sensor connector for your application can be confusing at times, especially if you don't understand exactly what you require. They can come with different attachments, poles and connectors. If you're unsure of the model you require, it's best to seek expert advice rather than choose the wrong one.

M8 and M12 connectors are often used as a sensor connector for applications such as electronic gates and barriers. They work within the circuit to detect the presence of a vehicle or person and open or close the gates automatically as required. However, Sunkye circular connectors can replace of M8 & M12 connector with Withstand high temperature and high voltage and more cost saving.
